# Connect Slack

SlateCX is easily integrated into Slack.  This allows you to be notified of certain events that take place in prospects slates in realtime.  It is quite common for a human SDR to monitor the Slack channel and jump on notifications as they occur.

## Connect

Simply navigate to the Ingegrations page (via the main side menu).

Scroll down to Slack and click Connect.  Make sure you are already logged into your Slack workspace.  You will be asked to pick one of the workspaces you are already logged into.

## Choose a channel

Once installed you can pick the channel you want notifications to go to. You can create a new channel directly from the Integration page.

Notifications are plain text and are sent to the channel specified above. You can turn each event notification on or off depending on how many notifications you would like.

| Event             | Fires when a prospect                                   |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Slate saved       | Prospect saves a Slate                                  |
| Goal achieved     | Prospect achieves a campaign goal                       |
| Form submitted    | Prospect submits a HubSpot form                         |
| Meeting booked    | Prospect books a HubSpot meeting                        |
| Slate shared      | Prospect shares a Slate with another recipient          |
| First message     | Prospect sends their first  message in a Slate          |
| Card interaction  | Prospect has a meaningful card interaction              |
| Team chat message | Prospect sends their first team-chat message in a Slate |

A meaningful card interaction is media play, document scroll or zoom, image zoom, an external link, or text scroll. Plain card opens are excluded.
