# Goals

Goals guide how your SlateCX agent talks to prospects. Each time you create a new goal it will appear as a tile in the dashboard. Tracking goals is a good way to quickly view how your SlateCX agent is performing.

## Who decides a goal is achieved

Goals can be marked as achieved in two ways.

1. From the SlateCX agent assessing the content of the conversation.
2. From a purely quantitative measure, for example the number cards pushed to the prospect, or a prospect submitting a specific form or booking a meeting.

See below for a list of quantitative measures.

| Trigger | Matches |
| ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| `card_added_to_slate` | A selected campaign card is added to the Slate |
| `card_external_link_opened` | The card's primary action link is opened |
| `card_host_navigation_opened` | An embedded host-navigation card link is opened |
| `hubspot_form_submitted` | A selected active HubSpot form card is submitted |
| `hubspot_meeting_booked` | A selected active HubSpot meeting card is booked |
