# Manage users

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/6MSgkwH4KOs>" %}

When you have an account on SlateCX it is referred to as a 'tenancy'. Within the tenant you can have any number of users.

Each user is assigned a role. There are two roles, see below:

| Role     | Can do                                                                 |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `admin` | Read and write tenant configuration, manage membership and credentials |
| `viewer` | Read tenant data                                                       |

Note that in order to use features like SlateCX MCP connectors you will need a user account to authenticate.
