# Proactive Information Gathering

When you are designing your SlateCX agent you can define certain fields that should be captured as part of the regular conversation.  

These fields can be stored in SlateCX or can sync directly with fields inside of HubSpot.  You can defined any fields that you like but you can also draw on standard HubSpot fields assuming you have added [HubSpot integration](/guides/connect-hubspot.md) to your account
